About Jack and Dottie
My husband Jack was a retired business owner who had visions of spending his latter years playing golf which he enjoys. But when my daughter Shan suggested we have a tea room in our beautiful old home, I knew I needed an expert in building and cooking and he was the man! My enjoyment has been music, directing choirs and teaching God's principles. Over the past years, I've also been involved in outside sales. We both like having people in our home, so we have combined our talents as a team and opened our home for tea, delicious food and a respite from this busy world.
Jack's wife died and knowing that my husband had passed away, he came looking for me since he had no desire to live the rest of his life alone. It was a match "meant to be" and we are blessed to be able to serve you together in our old southern home. We have four grown children and six grandchildren and enjoy sharing pictures and stories about them as well as about our house. I am so blessed to have my 90 year old mother living with us. She is an excellent cook and makes the delicious pear butter which we serve with our scones.
What a joy it will be to have you come and give us an opportunity to smother you in southern hospitality.
